Researcher and professor of Operations and Supply Chain Management, author of several books and scientific pubblications focused on these topics. As professor at the Politecnico di Milano is involved in teaching at the Management Engineering Course (bachelor and Msc). As professor of MIP, the business school of Politecnico di Milano, teaches and works to improve the success of any kind of MBA, Executive MBA, Master and Executive program of the school. He's member of the board of directors of a medium size company manufacturing packaging plants and devices and of a medium size company of the machinery industry.. He's member of the International Advisory Committee of the School of Economics and Management of the Beijing Jiaotong University and of the Xi'an Jiaotong University in China. He's member of the International Advisory Committee of ESSCA - École Supérieure des Sciences Commerciales d’Angers (France), of EADA (Spain) and of SEB Ljubljana (Slovenja) He is member of the management board of ANIMP (National association of industrial plant). He has been member of the managing committee of ASFOR the italian association for management education till December 2017. He's been chairman of the executive board of ACE, Alliance of Chinese and European Business Schools till June 2018. He’s been Dean and President of the board at MIP Politecnico di Milano from 2015 to 2019
