In the last 10 years, Retail has experienced a period of great transformation driven by technological innovation and evolution in socio-cultural models, which have led to new forms of interaction between stores, products, and customers. In this talk, we will discuss omnichannel in a broad spectrum, with an overview of cases from Italy and the world, before focusing on a specific case, that of Iperbimbo.

For Iperbimbo, a leading retailer of infant products, the main goal today is to best involve the customer in all channels and in all phases of their purchasing process, thus embracing an omnichannel strategy that puts new parents and their needs at the center. Only omnichannel, in fact, allows every mother to manage her needs with total flexibility: from online customer service support, to the kindness of in-store staff, to purchases for the child's growth, to be made indiscriminately at home or in-store. This specific case, therefore, sets an example in the construction of omnichannel not only as a simple commercial opportunity but as a true user service.
